A PVC strip curtain is a barrier of overlapping flexible PVC strips hung in doorways or openings. It is used to control temperature, dust, noise, insects and air flow between areas while still allowing easy passage of people, forklifts and trolleys. AERSTER manufactures PVC strip curtains for factories, cold storage, warehouses and food processing units across India.

An air curtain works by projecting a high-velocity stream of air across an open doorway, creating an invisible barrier. This barrier separates indoor and outdoor environments, keeping out heat, dust, flies and pollution while retaining conditioned air. AERSTER air curtains help reduce energy costs and maintain hygiene at entrances of shops, restaurants, hospitals and industrial units.

A standard PVC strip curtain uses overlapping strips that part when passed through. A magnetic PVC strip curtain has magnets embedded along the edges of each strip so the curtain self-closes and seals completely after someone passes through. AERSTER magnetic PVC strip curtains are ideal for cold storage and clean rooms where a tight seal is essential.

For light-duty indoor use, 2mm thick strips are common; for general industrial and cold-storage use, 3mm strips are recommended; and for heavy-duty applications with forklift traffic, ribbed or thicker grades are preferred. AERSTER offers multiple widths and thicknesses including 100mm, 200mm and polar grades for cold storage.
